I configured a pool for my Windows-Backups in TrueNAS using Acronis Workstation 12.5.
From my Windows machines I have full access to the storage and it's possible to mount the share folder. But from a Acronis I get the
error message: specify the Domain\user

I tried
\\TRUENAS.WORKGROUP\root
\\TRUENAS\root
root@truenas
$Truenas\$root

and some other login tests without any success. But now I run out of ideas.
Can someone give me the correct syntax

running TrueNAS-12.0-U7

Root isn't a permitting SMB user. If you intend to use a local account for SMB access, create a new service account for acronis. For example `acronis` and then use that to authenticate to the share.

Ok, I added a new user with the username of the Workstation.

Then the correct login is:
TRUENAS\username
Important: There is no (!) backslash (\) in front of TRUENAS!
Problem solved
