Document Search Server

HI there,

I'm looking for a document search server application that can be run on the same server that is running Freenas.
Is this possible?

I have come across open source search server, and another called regain.

Is it possible to run these in jail environments, but in such a way that the applications would have access to see what is stored on
on the Freenas?

Yeah just run the service you want in the jail, then you can creat a mountpoint from outside to in it.
Services > Plugins > View Mount Points > Add Mount Point

This is how I do stuff so I can have seperate datasets for different files and have different snapshots of my data but still let programs access my data
