I connected an external drive to run SMART and then disconnected the disk while the system was shut down. TrueNAS still lists the disk, even after a reboot. The disk was never imported or added to pool.

I have searched the forums and google with no solution. What's the best way to purge the disk listing from the web GUI Disks view—or using shell?

Looks like it's a bug then.

Report the problem from System | Support in the GUI.

There's probably a way to mess with the config DB manually to take it out, but it's not the kind of worm-can I want to open up.
