I face the same problem. After installing CUPS from a Truecharts repo (the only available version was in an "incubator" catalog and it's described as "latest_1.0.64"), I can access a web pannel, but when I try to add my printer (under Administration -> Add Printer) I get the same error as @ncw1978 . Is this app broken (hence it's in an "incubator" catalog) or we are missing some important step(s)?

As I understand it, the "incubator" catalog would be considered pre-release, with no assurance that the apps there would work. But your best bet for support for the TrueCharts apps is their own Discord server; they don't spend much time around here.

Thanks for response. I understand this forum is not related to Truecharts and it's best to ask them directly, but I just hoped someone here had some experience using CUPS (as application from Truecharts) with TrueNAS Scale and could help me and @ncw1978 .
I've seen another >>thread<< where someone claimed he managed to make it working with a Portainer, but I'm new to Docker and thought that TrueNAS Applications would be the easiest approach. I know that those apps are also cointainers managed by Kebernetes (with some agent layer in between user and actual Kubernetes) but this would raise too many questions if I opt in for using Portainer docker instance to run CUPS, like: why Portainer and not embeded Docker feature (under TrueNAS -> Apps -> Manage Docker Images)?
I used a separate machine in the past to act as a print server (with a Linux distro installed), but I that's a waste of resources (hardware and power consumption) since I have a TrueNAS server now. I just want the easiest solution and not make things more complicated than they need to be.

Found the solution.
You need to put "https://" in your address bar before the ip address.
