How can I proceed?

I am aware of this and many other posts on this forum, I found zero solutions in them.

Yes. Should I try 32bit?

No, 32 bit is unsupported, that's why I'm asking.

What do these commands show?

fs0:
dir

Just EFI dir. And in it:

It's this weird 1 dir structure all the way down to this EFI file.

That's good

cd efi
cd boot
bootx64.efi

What happens?

Then... it just boots. Thanks. I guess no posts spell this out because people were able to figure this out on their own. Is there a specific reason why doesn't this just work? Microsoft deviating from standards or something?

No idea, sorry. I just know a bit about UEFI.

EDIT: Possibly you missed the "hit any key to boot from CD" message, and lacking any other bootable device the system dropped you into the EFI shell.
