Cannot write into folder

Well I cannot write something to a folder. When I put a file into the root everything works, what is wrong? permission? Can someone get me through this, please?

Did you create any ACL's for the share or are you trying to acces them with root-user?

If you Acces at your folder through SMB you need creat ACL's Frist

ACL created, added the user there, but it did not help

I create an admin user for the main folder.
The main folder has this user with full administrator rights to all folders and subfolders with files inside the main folder.
But in fact this user is absent.
All folders inside belong to another "webdav" user and I can't do anything with those folders.

I created a user called "Eby" with password in the users settings. What is ACL?

I can create folders and copy something in it. But when I try to delete soething it gets the "Need permission" error. I use the Samba share option

You need to navigate to the storage section in the gui where you created your share. On your share there should be 3 dots on the right side. If you click them there should be a drop down menu and one menu point should be "Edit Permissions". There you can create new and edit existing permissions for that particular share.

The option is greyed out in y enu. It says - root dataset permissions cannot be edited

The greyed out one is for the Storage-Pool. You need to create a Dataset inside this pool, edit the Permissions on the Dataset and Map the dataset as a network drive.

One is for the storage pool and has been grayed out. A dataset must be created inside of this pool, its permissions must be changed, and the dataset must be mapped as a network drive.
