Hi everyone,

First of all my appreciation to you guys for helping me. I am pretty new into this NAS and decided to install one after some reading.

I accidently installed trueNAS on 2 hard disks, please seee enclosed.

Now, I want to use ada0 and reset it to a normal disk/pool, something like boot-pool into pool, so that I can use it for storage etc.

Do you know how to do? I tried looking into the forum by searching boot-pool into pool or formatting hard disk, but doesn't really help.

Much appreciated!

You'll need to detach it.

From System | Boot | Actions | Boot Pool Status.

Click the 3 dots next to the disk you want to remove and select detach.

You can then go back in disks and wipe it, then use it as desired.
