So, I installed my CORE on a boot-pool at installation time. When you do so, you are warned that you won't see this pool in the UI. And, IX Systems is true to it's word. I can't see it anywhere. I can see the individual disks though, and that seems a little odd. I actually do agree with the decision, except in 1 case. Now, since I can't see the boot-pool, I can't scrub it except from the Linux shell, and I can't schedule any checks for it. That's not a huge deal, I'm very comfortable in ZFS, but it does seem to reduce the utility.
