Automatically backup iPhone images to TrueNAS?

On June 1, 2021, Google Photos will cease to be free. Plex Camera Photo will also be discontinued at same time. I'm looking for alternatives to save all my images across all Mac devices into TrueNAS. Do you have any suggestions or reliable solutions?

I think Nextcloud is quite heavy as I'm only interested to manage photos, anything else is taken care of Plex. I'm looking at open source Photoprism which is very close to Google Photos features but there is no fresh port available yet. Someone did an installer.

Of course Plex can also do that for iOS clients... maybe if you're reluctant to install something else, you actually don't need to.
