Application internet speed tests are very odd.

I'm trying to test and see what kind of speed my TrueNAS Scale host actually is getting for internet speeds.
So I installed one of the speed tests apps. and its either reporting a very wrong speed or its much slower than what it should be.
I'm on comcast and I have 10gig networking on everything. an my internet speed on my desktop usually reports 1.4gig to 1.5gig but I'm paying for 1.2gig
So the fact I'm getting just a little more is nice (thats downstream) up is about 39 to 41megs.
But when I used a speed test docker. I got this report. I dont see how I could get higher upload than what my download is set for. And if my computer reports different these number just look wrong.
Second screen shot is my PC using the live demo speed test.

This reply is a bit late, but I think that the OpenSpeedTest is checking the speed from the NAS server to your PC, not a speed test of your NAS server on the internet.

That's exactly what it's doing.

I just set up a TrueNAS cron job to run and log the speedtest CLI output on a regular basis in order to measure the internet speed as seen by the NAS.
