Hello. The title says it all really.
Just wondering if anyone has any kind of workaround to get Netflix working with Plex.

Thanks,
Chris.

You should ask this question on the Plex forums.

You should ask this question on the Plex forums.

Hello. I have already looked there and couldn't see anything. I thought I'd ask here because FreeNAS will probably require a different solution anyways.
I have found Netflix channels available on github like this one... https://forums.plex.tv/index.php/topic/68765-netflix-uk/
The developer states that it no longer works because Plex removed webkit support. I have read that Netflix is now available on Linux without depending on Silverlight/WebKit, so I figured someone might have patched something to play back using whatever method Linux uses.

Short answer: No.

Netflix is proprietary and has no intention of sharing itself or being involved with anything else.

Ye. it sucks that they aren't cool with having it run on as many devices as possible.

In theory could someone just make a dedicated browser in python that uses whatever method the latest linux version of Chrome uses?
