Any info on INVT UPS Products

Hey guys,

Looking at UPS products at the moment. One particular brand "INVT" came up, but am unsure of their reputation. Red flags include not being able to find much on them on the internet.

The other issue was compatibility with FreeNAS. I don't see INVT products listed in the driver list. I'm not clued up on what is required to have the UPS talk to FreeNAS either. Is there a generic driver I can use?

Neither. I purchased it anyway for science.

I'll set it up on Monday and report results. Comes with ethernet and serial port for communications. I did a little more research on the company and it's actually quite large. They specialise in heavy industrial electrical devices such as battery backup.

We'll see what happens. I'll see if I can get it to talk to FreeNAS at all and report back for the next person.
