I bougt 2x 512GB ADATA SU800 SSD's for apps pool, they appear as 1023GB and badblocks fails after ~ 15 seconds.
bots SSD's test ok under CORE 13, and Ubuntu 22.04.

Where'd ya get them from? Knockoff gear, especially flash devices like SSD's, are not that unusual.

Naah they are genuine, both drives passed badblocks run on my desktop and are recognised by adata firmware upgrade tool.
I think my mobo is too old for them, it's msi ms-s0891 LGA 1150 with xeon e3 1265L v3
Amazon will take them back, I'll try evos 870, lower durability, but I know they work with this mobo.

Well, that's weird. I would note that it is entirely possible for a device's controller to be hacked up in such a way that it would pass badblocks and firmware updater tests but still be a fake. Just tryin' to figure out what happened to you.

Ancient bios happened, same error with same adata series of SSD's were reported on gigabyte LGA1150 motherboards, bios upgrade helped it that case, MSI removed all info relating my motherboard from their support servers in last 3 years...
