I recently moved my TrueNAS Scale install into my Proxmox server as a VM. A few of my old datasets followed in to the new Scale-install as PCI-passthrough disks. I have imported the pool (which is located on two SSDs in mirror) and now wish to access the zvol in order to extract some data from it. A problem arises however.
I am unable to navigate to the path of the zvol in TrueNAS shell. The zvol is listed in the GUI (see below: DedicatedGames) but I'm not able to see the zvol in shell: the parent folder only contains one other folder (ix-applications used for my Apps). I still have several snapshots of the zvol and it takes up space on the disks.
I found this thread (https://www.truenas.com/community/threads/export-zvol-from-truenas-scale.103875/) but was unsuccesful since I'm not able to see the zvol in shell.
Also tried to do a Replication task with same result; not able to list the zvol.
So my question is: How do I either access or export the data in that zvol in order to extract a few files?
Some background information on the zvol:
Do let me know if you need any further info or details regarding my setup. I will be happy to provide.
Thanks!
