As the title says, I'm looking for 2.5" SSD's that would be suitable for iSCSI use. I'm mostly thinking 2 striped drives to saturate a 10G link (will more or less just be used for games, not really the end of the world if I lose the data on them, hence striping instead of mirroring, but would of course like durable drives so it doesn't happen often).

Though after doing some research, I'm not entirely sure what SSD's are suitable. My go-to for years have been Samsung, but with their 870 EVO line of drives, failure rates seem to be abnormally high, especially for the higher capacity drives (2TB+). I know there has been a "fix" for later production runs, but I can't be guaranteed to get one of the newer runs when purchasing them, and that sort of issue still has me doubting. Samsung 870 QVO, from my understanding, isn't really suitable given it's QLC.

Does anyone have any recommendations? I'm not well versed on how important the type of cell level is for SSD's (SLC, MLC, TLC, QLC), or which I should ideally aim for to get the best bang-for-buck.

Thanks in advance! :)
