You won't find many folks here with experience with Realtek NICs on FreeNAS as the wisdom is to not use them.
Driver support is limited and the drivers that do exist (at least for versions 11.3 and below) are terribly unreliable even if you can use them at all.
A quick search of the Internet tells me that there is no FreeBSD driver for your NIC in any case, so it's Windows or Linux for you unless you buy an addtional (preferebly Intel) NIC.

I've come across this. Not managed to get it to work for me as yet but you may have better luck?
