Go with industry standard brands like Intel and such. They have built-in drivers. I use Broadcomm SFP+ cards with no issues. From what I've read .... it's next to impossible to "to roll your own". Broadcomm is in the same price range as your Sonnet's ........

When I tried what I use, I bought one and kept the packaging "just in case" .....

And in the future as you change mb's, major versions of s/w,...... it'll go a lot smoother too.

Hello, I am new to this community. Hello everybody. I have bought this 10Gbe card for my truenas server but it does not detect it. someone knows any guide on how to install the drivers.

This is the card I bought.
Sonnet Solo10G 10 Gigabit Ethernet SFP+ PCIe Card

Thank You!

There is no guide to install the drivers. There may in fact not be any drivers. Unfortunately, buying a random card and then hoping it is compatible with TrueNAS is not a good strategy for making a decent NAS. Even cards that might "work" may not work well, which is why we have lots of resources on the forums.

If you bought that card for $125, you spent about four times the cost of a used Solarflare card off of eBay, a card that's probably substantially better than the thing you bought new. We have an entire 10 Gig Networking Primer that discusses cards known to work well:

It's right there in his post - #3 - above. See "What Card Do I Pick?"
